Important points to keep in mind while doing SEO.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE DOING SEO.
LOAD TIME: It is
the time consumed to open the desired web page/ Rich Snippet. Google checks the
load time of a page or website and keeps the track for further ranking of page,
lesser the load time the better it is. Average load time is of <=8 seconds
and this could increase because of server errors.
TOOLS OF LOAD TIME:
Google page speed test, gtmetrix.com (it only analysis the home page not the
entire website) therefore we have to enter the URL for every desired page
analysis).
MOBILE FRIENDLY RESPONSIVE: it is very important to have a mobile friendly page as it
results in the downfall as well as increase in the ranking of a web page in
Google. Responsive layout of a website is when the page adjusts according to
the size of the screen/device.
While working in SEO basic thing to check is the load time
and mobile responsiveness.
MOBILE FRIENDLY TEST:
enter this text and open the same keyword link and then enter the URL to be
tested in the search bar on this page therefore within few seconds you’ll get
the result.
SERVER: it is
very important to have a good server to increase the speed/reduce the load time
of a web page and for India based company it is important to have the server in
India itself then only we will be able to get the better speed and save at least
5 seconds of load time.
.in: represents
India/
.com: represents US but (.com) is also commercial
now.
INTERNAL LINK:
crawlers/spiders/bots all the links spider crawls are the inter links through
which it reaches to the internal parts of the contents and information.
EXAMPLE: in the
website of minervaindia.in if we mention that we are affiliated to Shri Dev
Suman University and to check our affiliation click on the link given below
this is an internal link. When we create a link provides the information about
our own page in detail it is called internal link.
EXAMPLE: in
courses offered tab we mention fine arts course when we click on that we get to
another page where we get the further detailed information about fine arts
course it is called internal link.
EXTERNAL LINK: accurate information means external link.
When we mention link which takes us somewhere else from our page but on that
other page our information is mention it is called external link.
EXAMPLE: on Minerva’s website we mention about our
affiliation from shri dev
Suman University and we mention their website’s URL on our
page to see our listing on the university’s page than that link is called an
external link.
(SITE :) through this we can see every text entered in
Google.
NO FOLLOW: when there is no follow command mentioned
than this means that this text is not to be followed further as there is no
direct link or connection between both the texts and it is just for the name
sake.
EXAMPLE: where A
tells C not to follow B. this connection is a nofollow connection.
DO FOLLOW: when
there is a do follow written in the link this means that there is a connection
between the text and it supposed to be followed, because of this link there was
a sudden increase in the rank of a web page because bots of Google read this
link, earlier this DO FOLLOW link was a paid link and as a result people
started buying this do follow link which caused an unethical rise in the ranks
due to this Google ultimately banned the use of do follow links and whom so
ever uses this were penalized.
